Faride is a graduate from Grand Canyon University, and she has her Master of Science in Addiction Counseling, she plans to expand her scope of practice by including trauma. Faride’s previous experience includes working with adults who struggle with co-occurring disorders, SMI, general mental health, and substance abuse disorders. Faride has conducted various treatment assessments, discharge planning, and has provided treatment with the use of her preferred approaches, which are: CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoeducation. Faride is very passionate about providing therapy to all who are struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders that contribute to the use of alcohol or other substances. Faride is truly blessed to walk beside those impacted by the pain and hurt of mental illness and substance abuse.
Faride was raised in Flagstaff and moved to Phoenix in 2012. She is the proud wife of a United States Army Veteran who completed several tours in Afghanistan and Kuwait. In her time off, you might spot her baking, listening to French music, traveling, and spending time with her amazing husband and two beautiful dogs.
